Responsibilities

Set technical direction and own architecture for major parts of the product and platform.
Build solutions for reliability at millions-of-tickets scale, AI-agent evaluation and quality systems, and foundational systems used by other engineers.
Design tooling, guardrails, and feedback loops for effective coding-agent workflows across the team.
Lead ambiguous, high-stakes projects from blank page to production across the stack.
Improve other engineers through design reviews, mentorship, and example-setting in code.

Requirements

10+ years of experience shipping software, including staff- or principal-level engineering experience at a company with high engineering standards.
Experience setting technical direction for a product or platform and taking responsibility for the resulting outcomes.
Experience leading ambiguous, high-stakes projects across the stack from inception through production.
Ability to use coding agents as a core development workflow and form opinions on how teams should use them.
Knowledge of TypeScript, React/Remix, PrismaORM, NestJS, or Python is welcomed but not required because the company expects strong engineers to learn the stack quickly.
