Principal Software Engineer - Engineering Accelera in USA

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal engineering teams to gather requirements and develop the service-management platform.
  • Design and improve front-end and back-end applications that manage thousands of daily change rollouts.
  • Create cross-functional architectural designs optimized for long-term scalability.
  • Build AI-powered developer tools and improve engineering automation and productivity.
  • Develop, mentor, and share engineering best practices with other teams.
  • Work with managers and stakeholders to shape the team’s vision and direction.
  • Design, ship, monitor, and support tools and systems used by engineers at Roblox scale.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience and at least 7+ years of relevant work experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience as a software engineer.
  • Experience building tools or systems used by other engineers at large scale.
  • Experience with both backend and frontend development and software engineering best practices.
  • Extensive infrastructure and distributed-systems experience.
  • Experience with common cloud technologies, Docker, containers, and CD platforms.
  • Knowledge of build, test, and CI/CD technologies.
  • Full-stack experience using two or more languages or technologies such as Go, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with HashiCorp and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Strong customer-focus, collaboration, mentoring, and communication skills.

Salary: $295k - $345k/yr
