Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver cloud-based Privileged Access Management solutions.
  • Build and maintain end-to-end features using modern JavaScript and cloud-native backend technologies.
  • Lead technical design for key initiatives with emphasis on quality, scalability, maintainability, redundancy, and multi-tenancy.
  • Build reusable, performant UI components for a no-code builder experience.
  • Evaluate and roll out new features and common platform components.
  • Conduct design and code reviews and write comprehensive unit and functional tests.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and fix team-owned services and frameworks, including performance bottlenecks.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Collaborate with architects, QA, product owners, security engineers, and operations engineers.
  • Use AI pair-programmers and LLM tools such as GitHub Copilot and Anthropic Claude to accelerate development while maintaining code quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 9 years of programming experience in a modern language such as Go, Java, or C++, especially in backend services.
  • At least 8 years of experience working with PostgreSQL or equivalent relational database systems.
  • Extensive experience developing cloud-based software security products and architecting, implementing, tuning, and debugging large enterprise cloud deployments.
  • Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
  • Knowledge of modern frontend JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Demonstrated experience with REST and its fundamentals.
  • Experience with AWS, Redis, Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, Kinesis, Kafka, and Docker.
  • Knowledge of network security, authentication, and authorization.
  • Demonstrated use of sound software engineering principles and familiarity with Agile software development.
  • Experience with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Anthropic Claude is expected; prior experience at security firms is a plus.
