Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance application systems and programs using application development procedures, programming concepts, and script tools.
  • Analyze and interpret code to identify system enhancements, vulnerabilities, and security issues.
  • Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; recommend programming solutions; and install and support systems.
  • Conduct testing and debugging, resolve application issues, and implement solutions using technical experience and established precedents.
  • Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and act as a subject-matter expert for stakeholders and team members.
  • Operate with limited direct supervision while exercising independent judgment, assessing risk, and following applicable policies and regulations.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
  • Intermediate-level experience in an applications development role.
  • Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
