Responsibilities

Analyze, define, build, test, and maintain properly engineered software information systems.
Design and implement automated functional and non-functional test scenarios.
Write and maintain test scripts and follow test-driven design processes.
Execute test planning, analysis, execution, and reporting across the test lifecycle.
Investigate test behavior, solve issues, raise defects, and apply risk categories to testing decisions.
Perform log-based validation, backend validation, or data comparisons where applicable.
Document test coverage and communicate updates clearly with the team.
Collaborate with colleagues, learn from feedback, and improve testing solutions through observation and measurement.

Requirements

Strong hands-on proficiency in Java.
Technical understanding of programming styles, frameworks, design patterns, and integration testing.
Experience using source code management tools such as Git.
Understanding of integrating automation frameworks with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI for continuous testing.
Good knowledge of the SDLC and test management tools such as Jira and TestRail.
Understanding of test planning, analysis, execution, and reporting.
Understanding of BDD frameworks including Cucumber and Gherkin.
Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to issues.
Exposure to log-based validation, backend validation, or data comparison using Python is desirable.
ISTQB Foundation Certification.
