QA Engineer in USA

  • Remote

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality assurance and user acceptance testing for web applications across desktop, mobile devices, browsers, and responsive breakpoints.
  • Create test plans, testing strategies, test cases, reusable test utilities, and test data strategies in collaboration with developers, business analysts, and project managers.
  • Develop and support automated functional, integration, and API tests and integrate testing into CI/CD processes.
  • Validate API integrations and applications against business requirements, system requirements, acceptance criteria, and accessibility standards.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and manage releases involving feature updates, bug fixes, and enhancements.
  • Manage project requirements and test results using Agile tools and collaborate with cross-functional and international QA teams.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of quality assurance and manual testing experience with public-facing web applications.
  • At least 3 years of experience on web-based software projects across requirements, design, development, testing, release, and post-release support.
  • At least 2 years of automated testing experience using Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools, including test architecture and reusable utilities.
  • At least 2 years of experience validating API integrations with Swagger, Postman, or automated API testing frameworks.
  • Previous release management experience and experience working in Agile or Waterfall environments.
  • Experience with ADA and WCAG 2.0 Level AA compliance testing.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, ADO wiki, or similar documentation and project-management tools.
  • Preferred experience with BrowserStack, LambdaTest, or similar cross-browser and cross-device testing platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business, Management Information Systems, or Accounting.
  • Preferred experience testing CMS platforms including Sitecore, Optimizely, ContentStack, or Contentful.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Next.js, or similar front-end technologies for debugging UI issues and supporting automated test development.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organization, independent judgment, prioritization, customer service, and attention-to-detail skills.
