Responsibilities

Own quality outcomes, risk assessment, and release readiness for assigned systems and features.
Lead defect triage, prioritization, and cross-disciplinary communication.
Design, improve, and drive testing strategies and methodologies.
Execute or delegate whitebox and blackbox testing with remote testers.
Provide actionable feedback on features, user experience, and technical implementations.
Partner with engineers and developers to improve testability and build quality upstream.
Author and maintain scalable test plans and coverage.
Analyze and report on test coverage, defect trends, and product quality.
Mentor less experienced testers and contributors and elevate team quality practices.

Requirements

3+ years of software quality assurance experience, including successfully leading testing efforts on a team.
Experience owning defect database areas, including triage, prioritization, and reporting.
Experience coordinating and guiding remote or distributed testers.
Experience working within multidisciplinary Agile teams.
Experience analyzing quality metrics and creating actionable test coverage and defect reports.
Preferred experience developing across console and PC platforms.
Preferred experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5.
Professional experience working on first-person shooters or extensive engagement playing them is preferred.
Experience influencing quality practices beyond the immediate team is preferred.
Preferred certifications include ISTQB Foundation Level, ISTQB Agile Tester, ICAgile Agile Testing (ICP-TST), ISTQB Expert Level, or ICAgile Test Expert (ICE-AT).
