Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for functional, non-functional, regression, performance, and accessibility testing.
  • Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of automated test scripts.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, stakeholders, and leadership to define testing strategies and align quality goals with business objectives.
  • Review test cases, automation scripts, and results for coverage, accuracy, and business alignment.
  • Identify, document, track, and communicate software defects through resolution.
  • Analyze testing metrics and recommend improvements to QA processes and product quality.
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Mentor QA team members through coaching, technical guidance, and best-practice standards.
  • Set objectives, contribute to continuous improvement, and support QA resource planning and staffing decisions.
  • Serve as hiring manager for L1–L2 QA roles, including reviewing assessments, conducting interviews, and contributing to hiring decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of Quality Assurance experience focused on functional and automated testing.
  • 1–2 years of formal people leadership experience, or a combination of people management and prior Technical Lead experience with ownership of delivery, mentoring, and cross-functional coordination.
  • High-level written and verbal English communication proficiency.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Ability to analyze complex systems and resolve testing challenges.
  • Hands-on experience with frontend and backend testing, including web applications, APIs/services, integrations, and data validation.
  • Preferred experience defining QA metrics and improving testing processes at scale.
  • Preferred experience using AI platforms such as Claude, Copilot, or ChatGPT, with understanding of LLMs and multi-agent systems applied to quality engineering.
