Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a high quality bar in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Participate in design discussions, planning, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Write test scripts and automated test cases providing end-to-end coverage across cloud, UI, and firmware.
  • Perform manual and automated testing of software applications.
  • Develop and execute test plans and define quality metrics for product quality.
  • Lead QA activities on medium- to large-sized projects and communicate with business and technical partners.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of quality assurance engineering experience.
  • Experience with manual testing and automation testing.
  • Experience scripting or coding.
  • Experience serving as a QA lead on medium- to large-sized projects.
  • Knowledge of IoT systems and strong computer science fundamentals.
  • Preferred experience with an automated test framework such as Selenium or Appium.
  • Preferred experience gathering test requirements, creating detailed test plans, and defining quality metrics.
