Quality Assurance Engineer in Others

Responsibilities

  • Create, execute, and maintain detailed manual and automated test plans for product releases and features.
  • Perform initial root-cause analysis using browser developer tools, network and console tabs, GCP server logs, and SQL analysis.
  • Report detailed bugs and errors in Jira and help reproduce issues raised externally.
  • Execute edge-case testing and update test plans as product changes are introduced.
  • Contribute to the automation framework by triaging, fixing, and maintaining failing tests.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in manual and automation testing of responsive web pages.
  • Experience testing across different operating systems and browsers.
  • Experience with Jira and Chrome Developer Tools for reporting and troubleshooting errors.
  • Strong knowledge of web-based applications, test-plan execution, organization, attention to detail, and analytical problem solving.
  • Experience working in agile teams with multiple product releases per week.
  • Comfort with Python or Java; REST API exposure is a plus.
  • Experience testing RBAC or permission models and mobile applications is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, such as a BE, BTech, or BSc.
  • Excellent communication skills.
