Responsibilities

Design and develop Rust services for vehicle infotainment systems and supporting frameworks.
Develop reusable software modules and UI components using SOLID design principles.
Design, document, and maintain software architecture and API usage documentation.
Create proofs of concept for next-generation infotainment systems.
Profile, analyze, and improve application code and embedded software performance.
Participate in system design, documentation, testing, and cross-functional software integration.
Collaborate with software developers, test engineers, technical product managers, and leads in an agile team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
8+ years of software development experience.
4+ years of experience with Rust.
At least 1 year of experience designing clear, scalable, flexible, versioned APIs with robust error handling.
Preferred: master’s degree in engineering or computer science.
Preferred: at least 1 year of experience with C++17.
Preferred: proficiency with Python and Bash.
Preferred: experience profiling and improving embedded software performance.
Preferred: proficiency working in Linux and macOS environments.
Preferred: experience with Git, pair programming, and agile development methodologies.
