Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automation test strategies and plans for SAP applications and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks for SAP S/4HANA.
  • Lead and manage a team of automation engineers, including mentoring and performance development.
  • Integrate automation assets into CI/CD pipelines and manage them in code repositories.
  • Manage defect processes, test lifecycles, test automation assets, and test reporting.
  • Lead automation testing for SIT and UAT and provide documentation, reports, metrics, and stakeholder guidance.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, test managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Travel and work at various project locations as required.

Requirements

  • Good experience leading SAP end-to-end automation testing across SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules including Employee Central, Recruitment, Onboarding, Finance, Procurement, Materials Management, and Supply Chain.
  • Expertise with automation testing tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, Worksoft Certify, UFT, TestComplete, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipeline integration using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM/Quality Center, qTest, or similar test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of test lifecycles, defect management, risk and issue identification, test reports, and metrics.
  • Experience mentoring team members and working in a detail-oriented problem-solving environment.
  • ISTQB or ISEB software testing certification at Foundation level or above, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Must be eligible to obtain Security Check clearance, including five consecutive years of UK residency with no single absence exceeding 28 days.
