Senior Agentic Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify high-value workflows and prioritize agentic solutions.
  • Design and build production AI agents that operate on Farther’s data model and vendor integrations.
  • Build and maintain integrations with internal services and external platforms.
  • Make scalable architectural decisions and apply software engineering practices including testing and code review.
  • Establish monitoring, alerting, logging, evaluation, guardrails, and access controls for reliable and safe agent behavior.
  • Lead business-facing rollouts, train users, and provide ongoing support.
  • Track adoption and business impact and use feedback to inform the product roadmap.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience using Python, SQL, HTTP, and AWS.
  • Track record of designing scalable systems and understanding cloud and serverless architectures.
  • Hands-on experience building AI agents; Claude Managed Agents or Anthropic Claude Agent SDK experience is preferred.
  • Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code.
  • Experience working with operations teams, demanding users, and business-facing applications through rollout.
  • Strong business judgment, ownership, communication, and ability to explain technical tradeoffs.
  • Preferred experience with AWS Bedrock AgentCore, GCP, Vertex AI Agent Builder, Azure AI Foundry, LangGraph Cloud, or CrewAI.
  • Bonus qualifications include wealth management or financial services experience, custodial or vendor financial data, MCP, LLM tool integrations, regulated-environment compliance and access controls, and data knowledge graphs.
