Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver complex AI-enabled product features across frontend, backend, APIs, services, and data pipelines.
  • Own the full lifecycle of digital banking products from initial concept and architectural design through release and maintenance.
  • Improve system architecture and design components that integrate across APIs and microservices.
  • Mentor junior engineers, conduct critical code reviews, and establish strong engineering practices.
  • Contribute to LLM-based voice assistants and real-time personalization engines using OpenAI and machine learning models.
  • Implement entitlements and fraud prevention services with a focus on security, scalability, and resilience.
  • Identify tooling gaps, reduce technical debt, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of professional experience building complex, high-traffic products.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, JPA/Hibernate, and Maven.
  • Experience with microservices and cloud technologies; Netflix OSS experience is a plus.
  • Strong Angular and TypeScript skills, with proficiency in RxJS and modern build systems.
  • Experience with Webpack and Jenkins; Vue.js experience is a plus.
  • Ability to design systems using Enterprise Integration Patterns and manage complex data flows between services.
  • Excellent spoken and written English and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Previous fintech or banking experience is highly considered an advantage.
