Responsibilities

Evolve the entity management and governance platform, including entity types, attributes, cross-references, and relationships.
Build and extend NER pipelines using LLM-based models, gazetteers, pattern matching, and blacklists across text, files, and live-stream content.
Improve search, entity discovery, entity resolution, personalized search, filtering, and relationship navigation.
Design and query graph-based relationship models for traversal, visualization, and connected business context.
Implement entity-level security and permission-aware access controls for data retrieval and exploration.
Onboard data sources and support integrations with consuming applications.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and AI workflows while validating AI-generated code and designs.
Collaborate with stakeholders on the platform roadmap and support onboarding and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

At least 7 years of software engineering experience, including production data-intensive platforms.
Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, information retrieval, and entity resolution.
Knowledge of graph databases and knowledge graphs, including Neo4j and Cypher.
Applied NLP and NER experience with LLM-based extraction and models such as Gemma, Llama, GLiNER, or spaCy.
Experience with PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Datadog or similar observability tools, and data ingestion from multiple source systems.
Strong systems thinking, architecture, data modeling, and complex business-domain modeling skills.
Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, and agentic workflows, with the ability to evaluate and correct AI-generated outputs.
Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python or Java.
Excellent communication skills and knowledge of permission-aware data access and security filtering.
Experience in Oil & Gas or another asset-heavy industry is preferred.
