Responsibilities

Automate testing for web and Windows-based applications and build or use automation frameworks.
Perform in-sprint automation, review test cases and results, and convert complex requirements into test scenarios, cases, and scripts.
Prepare test strategies, test plans, requirement traceability matrices, test reports, and risk analyses.
Automate CI/CD pipelines and create virtual machines and test-suite runner configurations for automation.
Conduct manual, functional, integration, exploratory, system, sanity, API, and web-service testing.
Use SQL queries to validate data and test services with JSON, XML, REST, and related testing tools.
Manage defects and test cases using issue-tracking and test-management tools.
Collaborate with global delivery teams and present project-related points of view clearly.

Requirements

5 to 8 years of experience in automation testing of web and Windows-based applications.
Expertise building and using automation frameworks with Java or C# and experience with Selenium, SpecFlow, BDD, Protractor, or WebDriverIO.
Hands-on programming experience with C#, Java, Python, and JavaScript.
Experience with version control, CI/CD pipeline automation, SQL, JSON, XML, REST, Postman, REST Assured, JSON Lint, and SOAP UI.
Experience using defect-tracking tools such as Jira, TFS/MTM, or Bugzilla and test-management tools such as TFS/MTM or ALM.
Knowledge of manual testing, test strategy, test planning, traceability, risk analysis, and Agile/Scrum environments.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, writing, teamwork, attention-to-detail, and customer-service skills.
LIMS testing experience is advantageous; performance, security, and mobile automation testing knowledge is desirable.
