Responsibilities

Build and use automation frameworks for web and Windows-based applications.
Create automated test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
Perform in-sprint automation and review test cases and testing results.
Automate CI/CD pipelines and create virtual machines and test-suite runner configurations.
Prepare test strategies, test plans, and requirements traceability matrices.
Conduct manual, functional, sanity, integration, exploratory, and system testing.
Test web services and analyze risks, defects, and testing outcomes.
Collaborate with global engineering and delivery teams to improve product quality and reduce time to production.

Requirements

5 to 8 years of experience in automation testing.
Expertise in automation testing for web and Windows-based applications.
Experience building and using automation frameworks with Java or C#.
Proficiency with Selenium, SpecFlow, Protractor, WebdriverIO, and related automation approaches.
Hands-on programming experience with C#, Java, Python, and JavaScript.
Experience with Git, SQL queries, JSON, XML, web-service testing, Postman, REST Assured, JSON Lint, and SoapUI.
Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, TFS/MTM, or Bugzilla and test management tools such as TFS/MTM or ALM.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, SDLC, STLC, test strategy, test planning, and requirements traceability.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent qualification.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, attention-to-detail, and teamwork skills.
Experience testing LIMS is advantageous; performance, security, and mobile automation testing knowledge is desirable.
