Responsibilities

Translate business needs into technical solutions and implement the required functionality.
Design, develop, and operate scalable, high-performance backend microservices for advertiser campaign management and reporting.
Implement robust and secure APIs and integrate multiple components of the advertising platform.
Investigate complex system issues, address root causes proactively, and improve scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, data analysts, UX designers, and other cross-functional partners.
Research new technologies and industry trends and define requirements, processes, and procedures for development, improvement, and testing projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years of software development experience with a deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
Strong understanding of web-based software architecture, distributed systems, and message-based architectures.
Expertise designing and developing RESTful, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs and microservice architectures.
Experience with database systems, data warehousing concepts, and SQL or NoSQL.
Experience operating large-scale production systems with fault tolerance and monitoring.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred experience in advertising or e-commerce domains.
Preferred experience with big data and/or machine learning.
Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Software development team leadership experience and Agile software development experience are preferred.
Experience with Spring, Java, Kotlin, Node.js, Kafka, Redis, Hive, Hadoop, Spark, and Elasticsearch is preferred.
