Responsibilities

Design and build high-performance data pipelines managing the full lifecycle of financial data.
Create foundational frameworks and platforms that establish AI as a core company capability.
Advocate for and demonstrate effective use of AI throughout the software development lifecycle.
Ensure data integrity and quality across multiple data sources.
Optimize query performance and troubleshoot data issues.

Requirements

4+ years of software engineering experience.
Proficiency in modern programming languages, especially Python or Java.
Experience with database systems, data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and mature data processes at scale.
Experience with offline data processing and batch pipelines such as Spark or similar frameworks.
Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, especially AWS and Kubernetes.
Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Preferred experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, orchestration tools such as Airflow, and data transformation and modeling tools such as dbt.
Strong ownership, communication, resilience, assurance, and creative problem-solving abilities.

Salary: $170k - $225k/yr
