Senior Back End Engineer, Data in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Design and build high-performance data pipelines managing the full lifecycle of financial data.
  • Create foundational frameworks and platforms that establish AI as a core company capability.
  • Promote effective use of AI throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality across multiple sources.
  • Optimize query performance and troubleshoot data issues.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages, especially Python or Java.
  • Experience with database systems, data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and mature data processes at scale.
  • Experience with offline data processing and batch pipelines such as Spark or similar frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, especially AWS and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
  • A B.A. or B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred experience with Snowflake, Airflow, or dbt.
  • Strong ownership, communication, resilience, assurance, and creative problem-solving skills.

Salary: $200k - $240k/yr
