Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, test, and maintain secure microservices, data aggregations, data models, alerting, and analytics.
  • Design and orchestrate near-real-time and post-aggregation data flows across a complex microservice ecosystem.
  • Use relational, document, graph, and big-data stores to support analytics and business intelligence solutions.
  • Optimize SQL queries, MapReduce strategies, queue processing, and other data-flow processes.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform for Azure resource provisioning and lifecycle management.
  • Develop and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Ensure data integrity, availability, and security across microservice communication and storage layers.
  • Analyze diagnostics, observability, logging, telemetry, and system health.
  • Collaborate on system roadmaps and security and privacy compliance requirements.
  • Conduct code and design reviews focused on performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Provide technical mentorship and contribute to AI-assisted automation, context-aware security, and data-driven decisioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of backend development experience in Python, C#, or a similar language.
  • Experience working in microservice environments with Python, C#, and other languages.
  • Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with microservices and Kubernetes container orchestration.
  • Proficiency designing, developing, and maintaining relational and NoSQL databases, including Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, query optimization, and transactional consistency in distributed environments.
  • Expertise using Terraform for Azure Infrastructure as Code.
  • Practical experience integrating AI/ML systems with Model Context Protocol or similar AI frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Understanding of cloud security, identity management, and privileged access control.
  • Preferred experience includes database performance tuning, replication, high availability, event-driven architectures, service meshes, API gateways, and observability tools such as Datadog and Grafana.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with Zero Trust, secure software lifecycles, AI-enhanced security, automated policy enforcement, data compliance, and Agile software development.
