Responsibilities

Monitor AWS, Azure, and/or GCP infrastructure and respond to alerts and incidents within defined SLAs during a 24x7 shift rotation.
Lead incident response, root cause analysis, problem management, and escalation for production issues.
Execute change requests, patching, backups, and routine maintenance using established access and change-management processes.
Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines to automate provisioning and reduce operational toil.
Own monitoring, alerting, and dashboarding improvements to increase visibility and reduce detection and resolution times.
Support security operations by applying patches, responding to vulnerability findings, and following escalation procedures.
Maintain runbooks, knowledge-base articles, and shift handover documentation.
Collaborate with clients, account teams, and Valtech engineering teams on service improvements.
Contribute to capacity planning, cost optimization, SLO/SLI, and reliability initiatives.
Participate in rotating on-call coverage and escalation procedures for priority incidents.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure support, ideally in managed services or 24x7 operations.
Advanced or fluent English.
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform among AWS, Azure, or GCP; multi-cloud experience is preferred.
Working knowledge of Linux and/or Windows Server administration.
Scripting and automation experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell, plus familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Datadog, PagerDuty, ServiceNow, or Jira Service Management.
Understanding of ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change management practices.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical judgment, communication, and high-pressure incident response skills.
Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Experience with AI-first triage, root cause analysis generation, and observability insights.
Cloud certification is preferred.
Experience with enterprise or multi-tenant managed-services environments is preferred.
Exposure to ISO 27001, SOC 2, or GDPR frameworks is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
Experience with AI-enriched IT Service Management platforms is preferred.
