We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing Data team and design scalable, cloud-native data solutions using AWS.

About the Role

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain AWS data infrastructure that powers analytics and data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with Data Analysts and Data Scientists, leading technical initiatives and building scalable, high-performance data solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, including production environments on AWS.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data lakes.
• Expertise with AWS S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Lake Formation, and Kinesis.
• Advanced Python, SQL, and PySpark skills.
• Experience with Apache Airflow, Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform), and Git.
• Experience supporting Data Analytics and Data Science teams.
• Knowledge of AWS security, monitoring, and cost optimization best practices.
• Advanced English (B2+ or higher).
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Data Analytics, or Database Specialty) are a plus.
• Must be currently located in Colombia.
