Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support enterprise data platforms using Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Build reusable self-service capabilities for onboarding, provisioning, monitoring, governance, and multi-environment platform operations.
  • Manage Kubernetes-based services and containerized data-processing workloads, including scaling, high availability, disaster recovery, and resiliency.
  • Automate infrastructure and platform deployments using Terraform, Bicep, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps practices.
  • Establish monitoring, observability, alerting, reliability improvements, root-cause analysis, and production incident remediation.
  • Implement security controls including RBAC, secrets management, network security, auditing, metadata management, and lineage monitoring.
  • Optimize Databricks clusters, Snowflake warehouses, Fabric capacities, and Kubernetes resources while implementing FinOps governance guardrails.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Data Platform Operations.
  • Strong experience supporting Databricks, Snowflake, or Microsoft Fabric platforms and managing Kubernetes workloads in production.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, cloud-native architectures, and platform automation.
  • Strong scripting and automation experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud environments and Agile and DevOps delivery models.
  • Preferred qualifications include Databricks, SnowPro, Microsoft Fabric, CKA, or Terraform certifications.
  • Preferred experience includes Apache Airflow, Kafka, Spark on Kubernetes, Kyuubi, GitOps, ArgoCD, service mesh, and platform SRE practices.
