Responsibilities

  • Design and build software solutions collaboratively with analysts, designers, project managers, and clients.
  • Write clean, reusable, object-oriented, well-tested code using practices such as TDD, pair programming, and design patterns.
  • Create large-scale distributed systems using microservices and deliver them through continuous delivery practices.
  • Build and deploy software using DevSecOps tools and practices while advocating for improved engineering and security practices.
  • Participate in the full software consulting and delivery lifecycle from ideation through deployment.
  • Mentor less-experienced peers and help drive teams toward technical and engineering goals.
  • Collaborate on features, design concepts, interactive prototypes, and implementation of UX specifications.

Requirements

  • Experience with one or more development technologies including Python, React, AWS, or AI.
  • Strong ability to write high-quality, well-tested code and apply object-oriented programming.
  • Working knowledge of cloud and infrastructure technologies such as AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Awareness of test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery approaches and tools.
  • Ability to influence others, advocate for technical excellence, and adapt to change.
  • Presence in the external technology community through speaking, open-source contributions, blogging, or similar activities.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and approach challenges from multiple perspectives.
