Responsibilities

Design, build, operate, and secure scalable, highly available AWS infrastructure.
Lead platform engineering initiatives that improve developer productivity, deployment velocity, and operational efficiency.
Drive Infrastructure as Code practices with Terraform and establish reusable infrastructure patterns and standards.
Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and self-service platform capabilities.
Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, and incident response practices.
Partner with engineering teams to improve reliability, performance, scalability, and resilience.
Collaborate with Security teams on cloud security, infrastructure hardening, access management, compliance, and governance.
Evaluate new technologies, automation opportunities, and AI-powered engineering tools.
Lead technical discussions, architectural reviews, and infrastructure design decisions.
Mentor engineers and advance DevOps, platform engineering, and SRE practices.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related disciplines.
Deep hands-on experience designing, operating, and securing AWS environments.
Strong Terraform expertise; Terramate or similar infrastructure orchestration experience is a plus.
Experience managing containerized workloads with ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, or similar platforms.
Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
Experience with observability platforms such as New Relic, Datadog, CloudWatch, or OpenTelemetry.
Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, identity management, and distributed systems.
Experience with automation and scripting using Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence technical direction across teams.
Proven ability to lead infrastructure initiatives and mentor engineers.
Experience with large-scale, multi-account AWS environments is preferred.
Experience building internal developer platforms and self-service infrastructure solutions is preferred.
Experience implementing SRE practices, including SLOs, SLIs, and reliability metrics, is preferred.
Experience supporting cloud security, compliance, and governance initiatives is preferred.
Familiarity with AI-powered developer tooling, automation platforms, or cloud-native AI services is preferred.
AWS Professional, Security Specialty, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar cloud certifications are preferred.

Benefits

Base salary of $150,000 to $180,000 plus a 10% bonus.
401(k) with company match.
