Responsibilities

Design and develop reliable, cost-effective, high-quality solutions for assigned systems and subsystems.
Identify and evaluate technology innovations and create plans to integrate them into the architecture and technology roadmap.
Review designs and project activities for compliance with development guidelines and standards, providing feedback to improve quality and reduce failure risk.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge sharing across software systems design and development initiatives.
Analyze complex application, system administration, network, science, engineering, business, and data-processing problems and implement solutions.
Communicate product architectures and design proposals and negotiate options with business-unit and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Go, or JavaScript.
Deep expertise in software systems design, development methodologies, and integration across diverse platforms and technologies.
Proficiency in cloud-based security concepts, including identity and access management, firewalls, VPN, and in-plane switching systems.
A history of innovation demonstrated through multiple patents or deployed software-design solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
Typically 8–14 years of experience.
