Senior Engineer - CI/CD in Others new

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize CI/CD workflows using Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Argo CD.
  • Build reusable pipeline templates, shared libraries, and automation for standardized engineering workflows.
  • Support GitOps-based Kubernetes deployments, release promotion, environment configuration, and rollback practices.
  • Integrate and administer SonarQube analysis, scanners, quality profiles, quality gates, and local developer workflows.
  • Integrate Codecov with test pipelines and pull requests, including coverage uploads, aggregation, thresholds, and status checks.
  • Create dashboards and reporting for build health, pipeline duration, quality gates, and coverage trends.
  • Partner with QE, development, DevOps, and security teams to drive adoption, resolve issues, and document standards.
  • Automate maintenance and enable self-service troubleshooting for developers.

Requirements

  • 5–9 years of relevant software engineering, DevOps, build/release engineering, or developer tooling experience.
  • Experience owning or significantly improving CI/CD pipelines used by multiple engineering teams.
  • Experience supporting distributed microservices and containerized workloads.
  • Strong knowledge of Bitbucket Git workflows, pull requests, webhooks, and repository permissions.
  • Strong Jenkins experience with declarative pipelines, shared libraries, agents, parallel execution, credentials, and troubleshooting.
  • Practical Argo CD and GitOps experience with Kubernetes deployments, synchronization, drift detection, and rollback.
  • Hands-on SonarQube administration and integration, including scanners, quality gates, quality profiles, pull-request decoration, and local analysis.
  • Experience integrating Codecov or an equivalent coverage-reporting tool with CI.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, Java, or Groovy and the ability to debug build and test tooling.
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker container builds, Linux, networking, secrets management, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Understanding of secure SDLC, access control, code quality metrics, and CI/CD security practices.
  • Preferred experience includes Java, Maven, Gradle, Snyk, SAST/SCA tools, Terraform, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, large-scale Jenkins infrastructure, test parallelism, caching, developer productivity metrics, and self-service engineering platforms.
  • Strong documentation, collaboration, and cross-team technical communication skills are preferred.
