Senior Engineer - Platform in Australia

Responsibilities

  • Build support systems and tooling for test environments so engineers can test changes without blockers.
  • Improve test-data readiness and enable frictionless testing across engineering teams.
  • Work with Golang services and infrastructure built with Terraform on AWS, including Kubernetes, EC2, and Lambda.
  • Contribute to initiatives that shorten feedback loops and increase engineering productivity.
  • Support the systems built by participating in an on-call rotation after onboarding.

Requirements

  • Experience in software engineering with platform or DevOps exposure, or infrastructure engineering with an understanding of software development.
  • Golang is preferred; strong experience with Java or .NET is also welcome.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS, and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar and legacy systems quickly and solve complex problems.
  • Clear communication skills, including collaboration across teams and presenting to leadership.
