Senior FE Engineer - Inference Console in Canada new

Responsibilities

  • Own platform areas such as billing, usage tracking, quotas, request logs, and metrics.
  • Design and implement frontend systems, APIs, and backend services for the Developer Console.
  • Make architectural decisions involving system boundaries, data models, performance, cost, and real-time versus batch processing.
  • Drive projects from ambiguous initial concepts through production and scale.
  • Lead technical execution, design reviews, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Improve system reliability, observability, debuggability, and production readiness.

Requirements

  • Typically 8+ years of industry experience building and operating production systems.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Track record of owning and delivering complex systems end-to-end.
  • Strong backend fundamentals in APIs, data modeling, and distributed systems.
  • Full-stack capability across frontend and backend systems.
  • Strong architectural judgment and experience making pragmatic technical tradeoffs.
  • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • High standards for correctness, maintainability, and long-term system health.
  • Ability to influence, mentor, lead technical execution, and elevate engineering quality.
