Responsibilities

Build frontend experiences for Verkada’s cloud-managed access control product.
Develop interfaces that let users manage doors, schedules, and user credentials from laptops or phones.
Take loosely defined product ideas through completion with ownership and autonomy.
Deliver best-in-class product experiences with strong attention to design, product details, and polish.
Collaborate with firmware, backend, and frontend engineers on the access control product line.

Requirements

7+ years of industry software engineering experience.
Mastery of JavaScript, including scoping, closures, contexts, prototypes, and classes.
Expertise using React.
Strong architectural understanding of custom components, custom UI, and cross-browser support.
Understanding of HTTP and practical debugging techniques.
Working knowledge of at least one server-side framework and one database system.
Degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field.
Ability and willingness to work onsite five days per week.
Self-motivated problem-solving ability and readiness to take technical ownership of major systems.
