Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Scala.
  • Build GraphQL APIs, RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems supporting business-critical workflows.
  • Develop frontend services using Angular 19, TypeScript, RxJS, and NgRx.
  • Build microservices that interact within clusters and integrate with Keycloak IAM for authentication and authorization.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and code reviews while maintaining quality and security.
  • Drive observability, reliability, automation, monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and engineering best-practice initiatives.
  • Support production systems through on-call participation, incident management, and continuous service improvements.
  • Mentor and support engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of professional software engineering experience building enterprise-grade applications.
  • Strong expertise in Java and Scala development.
  • Strong frontend development expertise with Angular 19, TypeScript, RxJS, and NgRx.
  • Experience designing and building on-premise systems using Angular, GraphQL APIs, RESTful APIs, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, performance, reliability, and secure software design principles.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Experience with AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, Kiro, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to evaluate, validate, and improve AI-generated code while maintaining quality, security, and maintainability.
  • Experience with observability, monitoring, and production support practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience working on large code-base products or enterprise-grade software.
  • Nice-to-have experience with modern frontend development practices, AI-enabled applications, agents, automation workflows, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
