Senior Full-Stack Engineer in Remote new

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Alpaca Connect frontends in TypeScript and React with supporting Go services.
  • Improve application onboarding, testing, compliance review, approval, publishing, and management workflows.
  • Convert manual support and compliance processes into clear, auditable self-service workflows.
  • Design APIs and integrations across identity, account, trading, and market data systems.
  • Own features from design through production and contribute to the team’s technical direction.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Design, Compliance, Support, Partnerships, and Platform teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building production full-stack applications.
  • Strong TypeScript and React skills.
  • Experience with Go or another modern backend language.
  • Strong SQL and relational database skills, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Experience designing REST APIs and integrating distributed services.
  • Experience with OAuth, OIDC, or similar authorization systems.
  • Track record of delivering secure, user-facing features end to end.
  • Clear communication and sound judgment when requirements are incomplete or ambiguous.
  • Preferred experience with developer platforms, partner portals, marketplaces, compliance or operational workflows, financial markets, brokerage systems, market data, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, production observability, startups, or distributed remote teams.
