Senior Full Stack .Net Developer in Australia

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, deploy, and run features across React and TypeScript interfaces, C#/.NET services, and AWS infrastructure.
  • Own production services, including reliability, observability, performance, and responding to incidents.
  • Partner with product and design to understand customer problems, shape solutions, and evaluate trade-offs with evidence.
  • Drive projects from idea to delivery with minimal direction and document sound design decisions.
  • Mentor junior engineers through pairing, code review, and feedback.
  • Participate in work breakdown, code review, testing, source control, and build processes.
  • Contribute to team culture by sharing knowledge and giving and receiving constructive feedback.

Requirements

  • Senior full-stack engineering experience with depth in C#/.NET services and React with TypeScript.
  • Experience designing, deploying, and supporting production services on AWS.
  • Product engineering experience, including shaping products around customer problems rather than only delivering tickets.
  • Ability to work self-sufficiently, drive work independently, and help less experienced engineers grow.
  • Quality-first approach including automated testing and CI/CD.
  • Nice-to-have production experience with Node.js.
  • Nice-to-have experience with event-driven systems using queues and messaging such as SQS, SNS, or RabbitMQ.
  • Nice-to-have experience with Next.js or another modern React framework.
  • Nice-to-have experience on high-traffic consumer or e-commerce platforms.
  • Successful candidates must complete a National Police Record check and have full-time Australian working rights.
