Responsibilities

  • Execute manual and automated testing activities to improve product quality.
  • Automate functional, regression, performance, and acceptance tests.
  • Own and enhance end-to-end automated test coverage.
  • Test web UIs and APIs and perform feature, smoke, regression, and non-UI testing.
  • Participate in sprint planning, analyze requirements, and provide test recommendations to the Scrum team.
  • Lead test teams and manage sprint-based manual and automation testing tasks.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, customer service, operations, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging AI tools and use AI-assisted development workflows across the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Likely 5+ years of software testing experience, depending on learning speed and technical development.
  • Strong experience in manual testing, including requirements analysis, test strategy, test planning, black-box, risk-based, exploratory, and non-UI testing.
  • Hands-on experience testing web UI and APIs using Postman or similar tools.
  • Working knowledge of test automation with Selenium, Playwright, or Katalon.
  • Basic coding ability in Java, C#, JavaScript, or a similar language.
  • Experience with Git, IntelliJ IDEA, and related testing tools.
  • Hands-on experience leading test teams and managing sprint-based manual and automated testing.
  • Experience with performance testing and knowledge of design patterns is preferred.
  • Experience with Cucumber, SpecFlow, Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions is preferred.
  • Proficient use of Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code, including context decomposition, multi-step prompting, agentic workflows, AI-driven development frameworks, and MCP or equivalent integrations.
  • Ability to self-learn, adapt to new technologies, work under pressure, and communicate in upper-intermediate English with clients.
