Responsibilities

  • Own custom solution development end-to-end, from technical design through implementation, testing, release, and validation.
  • Build customer-facing interfaces with React and TypeScript, backend services, and integrations with Staffbase and third-party APIs.
  • Partner with customers, consultants, and internal teams to define use cases, gather feedback, and refine solutions.
  • Mentor mid-level engineers and establish engineering standards, processes, and good practices for a newly formed team.
  • Participate in code reviews, produce well-tested code, and automate development and delivery workflows.

Requirements

  • Typically 5+ years of professional fullstack development experience, including ownership of solutions from concept to delivery.
  • Strong frontend skills with React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript, plus backend experience with Kotlin, Java, or Node.js.
  • Experience working with REST APIs and SDKs and integrating external systems.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding less-experienced developers and bringing structure to team practices.
  • Ability to work directly with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Strong focus on quality, clean code, testing, continuous learning, and collaboration.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and German are required.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with Go, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, professional services or consulting, custom customer-facing solutions, SSO, SAML, OIDC, SCIM, and REST or microservices architecture.
