Responsibilities

Build and operate low-latency trading systems covering matching, order entry, risk, market data, and funding rate computation.
Own reliability, correctness, incident response, and failover design for 24/7 production systems processing high-throughput financial data.
Write high-quality, well-tested performance-critical backend code optimized for latency and throughput.
Partner with Product, Infrastructure, and engineering leadership to translate strategy into deliverables and milestones.
Drive technical design decisions, write proposals, and build consensus with peers and technical leads.

Requirements

At least 5 years of software engineering experience with hands-on ownership of production trading, exchange, or large-scale financial infrastructure systems.
Deep proficiency in a backend language such as Java, C++, or Go, plus JVM or Linux performance-tuning experience.
Experience designing and operating highly reliable distributed systems with demanding correctness, throughput, and uptime requirements.
Experience partnering with Product and cross-functional teams to scope and deliver complex technical projects on clear timelines.
Interest in crypto and institutional markets, with deep crypto experience listed as a plus rather than a requirement.
Ability to use generative AI responsibly while maintaining human oversight and improving workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
