Responsibilities

Support incident management and resolution, refine incident procedures, and facilitate adherence to them.
Improve the secure software development lifecycle through vulnerability scanning, remediation processes, and security education for engineers.
Streamline customer security questionnaire handling by developing technology, tooling, and systems.
Assess business continuity threats, develop disaster recovery plans, and conduct recurring exercises.
Provide infrastructure support for new features and services in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Automate infrastructure management and deployments using Terraform, Argo, and GitHub Actions.
Manage and optimize GCP and Kubernetes (GKE) environments for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Improve observability with Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Alert Manager.
Maintain performance monitoring tools including k6 for capacity planning and optimization.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure and automation.
Experience achieving SOC2 Type II, ISO 27001, or similar certifications.
Experience with Node.js or Python for backend services in a microservices architecture.
3+ years of experience with cloud providers, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
3+ years of experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
Knowledge of asynchronous processing, message queues such as Kafka and Pub/Sub, and event-driven backend architecture.
Experience focused on internal engineering team success.

Benefits

The total compensation package includes stock options, benefits, and additional perks.
The posted base salary range is $170,000–$210,000 per year, with final offers varying by location, experience, and expertise.
