Senior iOS Developer in Canada

Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative features and user-centric workflows for Lightspeed’s iOS application.
  • Design and implement efficient mobile applications for iOS devices using SwiftUI.
  • Balance new feature development with maintenance of existing integrations and expansion into new markets.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Team Leads, and cross-functional teams on POS integration and performance.
  • Participate in grooming sessions and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Maintain high standards for code quality, system reliability, and codebase ownership.
  • Share iOS development practices and contribute to continuous team and application improvement.

Requirements

  • Advanced programming skills in SwiftUI.
  • Knowledge of Structured Concurrency, Blockchain, UIKit, Swift, SQLite, Core Data, and REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
  • Experience writing automated unit and functional tests.
  • Conceptual understanding of software design and code quality.
  • Experience with local network communication and external hardware accessories such as payment terminals and printers is a plus.
  • Experience using AI tools and implementing agentic workflows.
  • The role is based in Canada.
