Senior iOS Engineer, Guest & Host in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship reliable, scalable iOS product features and app-wide frameworks for guest and host experiences.
  • Prototype ideas and translate them into maintainable production code while considering long-term architecture.
  • Collaborate with Design, Product, Marketing, Data Science, and engineering partners to develop and launch features.
  • Integrate features across product areas and platforms, and optimize team-owned frameworks using developer feedback.
  • Troubleshoot bugs and address accessibility, globalization, performance, and quality issues in the iOS app.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building production iOS applications at scale.
  • Expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, client architecture, and UI performance.
  • Experience collaborating with backend, Android, and web engineers to integrate APIs and maintain consistent cross-platform experiences.
  • Ability to independently lead projects from start to finish in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a high bar for polish, accessibility, and quality.
  • Prior experience shipping user experiences with fluid interactions, motion, and graphics is preferred.

Benefits

  • US-remote-eligible position with occasional Airbnb office or offsite work as agreed with the manager; employees must reside in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity.

Salary: $196k - $227k/yr
