Responsibilities

Build and maintain market data components including feed handlers, normalization pipelines, distribution systems, and venue connectivity.
Design and implement low-latency, high-throughput services for real-time market data consumed by trading systems.
Improve reliability and performance through observability, on-call participation, and incident response.
Write high-quality, well-tested code and contribute to engineering standards.
Partner with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver institutional trading capabilities.

Requirements

At least 3 years of backend engineering experience building and maintaining production low-latency systems.
Hands-on experience with market data infrastructure such as feed handlers, normalization, or distribution.
Proficiency in low-latency Java or C++ and familiarity with Aeron, SBE, or similar high-throughput messaging frameworks.
Familiarity with venue or exchange connectivity and market data protocols including FIX, ITCH/OUCH, and multicast.
Experience shipping features end-to-end and operating systems in production.
Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Salary: $191k - $225k/yr
