Responsibilities

Build, operate, and scale large machine learning infrastructure and distributed applications across private, public, and hybrid cloud environments.
Manage compute platforms, multi-cloud object storage abstraction, caching systems, network architecture, and infrastructure from low-level nodes through the full stack.
Design, develop, release, and maintain production code using Python, Go, or Rust.
Deploy, support, and monitor new and existing services, platforms, and application stacks.
Automate manual operations and improve operational efficiency through continuous iteration.
Own projects from design through delivery and provide technical direction and feedback to improve team-wide execution.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience building, operating, and scaling a large application in a private, public, or hybrid cloud environment.
Deep expertise in Kubernetes, with hands-on experience using Google Kubernetes Engine or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service.
Proficiency designing, developing, and releasing code in Python, Go, or Rust.
Practical experience with object storage technologies including Amazon S3 or Google Cloud Storage.
Strong experience designing and troubleshooting complex networking issues in public and private cloud infrastructures.
Solid understanding of Linux internals, standard networking protocols, and distributed systems architecture.
Preferred experience with configuration management tools or software delivery platforms such as Spinnaker, Helm, or Flux.
Preferred understanding of best practices for deploying large-scale distributed applications and managing containerized environments with Kubernetes.
Strong critical thinking, accountability, communication, collaboration, and technical ownership skills.
