Responsibilities

  • Review requirements and specifications during sprint planning to ensure adequate test coverage.
  • Build, recommend, and maintain frameworks for automated test scenarios.
  • Create detailed test plans and test cases.
  • Convert manual regression scenarios into automated test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Integrate and reliably execute automated tests in CI/CD environments.
  • Perform functional, non-functional, manual, integration, and regression testing.
  • Identify, reproduce, troubleshoot, and thoroughly document software defects and enhancement requests.
  • Provide concise defect reproduction steps and support development teams with issue analysis.
  • Work independently to define and initiate QA activities within an Agile Scrum team.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of solid experience in software testing.
  • Programming experience in Java or another related programming language.
  • Hands-on experience with Git command line.
  • Experience with the Rest Assured framework and API testing.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, testing types, tools, and processes.
  • Computer Science, Engineering, or a related degree.
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem analysis, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools and Agile ways of working.
  • Ability to work remotely.
  • Travel and tourism experience is a plus.
