Senior Performance QA Engineer in Others

Responsibilities

  • Define and refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Design functional and non-functional test strategies aligned with Quality Engineering standards.
  • Estimate, prioritize, and plan performance-testing activities.
  • Design and document test cases using Gherkin syntax.
  • Design, execute, and analyze load, stress, performance, and capacity tests.
  • Apply Continuous Testing and Performance Testing frameworks.
  • Prepare and manage test data for development and certification environments.
  • Execute functional and non-functional tests across different environments.
  • Manage defects and track them through resolution.
  • Execute security tests and validate performance-related results.
  • Monitor performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, analyze execution results, and propose improvement plans.
  • Identify quality and performance risks, dependencies, and impediments.
  • Execute regression or confirmation tests and perform post-production follow-up.

Requirements

  • More than six years of Quality Engineering experience.
  • Experience designing and executing performance tests.
  • Experience with Apache JMeter and HP LoadRunner.
  • Knowledge and application of ISTQB standards.
  • Experience with BDD and writing test scenarios in Gherkin syntax.
  • Experience designing test strategies and applying performance-testing methodologies and techniques.
  • Experience analyzing performance and capacity metrics.
  • Experience with Jira and Xray for test management.
  • Experience with Continuous Testing, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
  • Programming knowledge in Java and JavaScript.
  • Experience managing defects and incidents.
  • Ability to design test plans for high-transaction-demand environments.
  • Preferred experience with DevSecOps testing practices, configuration management, version control, test-data management, and functional/non-functional test automation.
  • Preferred experience with backend, API, web, desktop, mobile-device, and security testing.
  • Preferred knowledge of test design patterns, Dynatrace, Postman, MongoDB, OWASP, and security applied to the testing lifecycle.
