Senior Platform Engineer in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications and production Kubernetes clusters in AWS.
  • Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for scalable and secure applications.
  • Administer and optimize GitHub repositories and workflows.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve developer toolsets and streamline SDLC processes.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues and implement security, reliability, and performance best practices.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver platform solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in platform engineering or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Golang or Python for scripting and automation.
  • Proven experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitHub, and AWS cloud services.
  • Strong networking knowledge and excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Preferred experience with GitHub runners, other CI/CD tools and platforms, Java, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, Linux, Backstage, kOps, and Cilium CNI.
  • AWS or Kubernetes certification is a plus.
