Responsibilities

Own platform modules end to end and drive them to completion with minimal supervision.
Build proofs of concept and production-grade Python components for an agentic AI platform.
Develop orchestration pipelines, RAG systems, LLM integrations, and MCP-based tool interfaces.
Build and maintain secure integrations with internal data sources, external APIs, and LLM providers.
Champion clean code, automated testing, CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and other engineering best practices.
Collaborate with quantitative analysts, stakeholders, and geographically distributed engineering teams.
Apply emerging generative AI and LLM tools and techniques to platform development.

Requirements

8–12 years of hands-on experience designing, building, and shipping complex, scalable software systems to production.
Deep proficiency in Python and its backend development and data-processing ecosystem.
Working knowledge of generative AI concepts including LLMs, RAG, MCP, and agentic platforms such as Google ADK.
Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SQL or databases, Unix-based environments, and containerized environments.
Ability to contribute to technical direction, communicate complex technical concepts, and translate business needs into technical requirements.
Ability to work effectively with geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones.
Experience with Java or C++ is preferred.
Familiarity with front-end technologies and user-interface development for technical workflows is preferred.
Financial services, quantitative finance, risk management, model risk management, model development, or regulated-environment experience is preferred.
Understanding of risk models such as PD, LGD, and EAD and regulatory requirements such as SR 11-7, CCAR, and CECL is preferred.
