Senior Principal Engineer in Others

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of the AI inference platform.
  • Design and build components and systems for new AI inference challenges.
  • Develop backend components using Python, Go, and Rust.
  • Introduce new platform features and capabilities.
  • Build and improve unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks and automation.
  • Drive technical execution, engineering excellence, and software quality across critical infrastructure initiatives.
  • Collaborate with ML, Product Managers, QA, and DevOps teams.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience building backend systems in Python, Go, or Rust.
  • Strong experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of Kubernetes and Helm Charts.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and experience building scalable, reliable services.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices and coding standards.
  • Preferred: experience with the Kubernetes ecosystem and AI inference serving and orchestration.
  • Preferred: experience with AI coding assistants and related technologies.
  • Preferred: knowledge of ML application optimization and productionization.
  • Preferred: ability to design and build cloud-native systems.
