Responsibilities

Develop product-agnostic software solutions that improve production efficiency and product quality.
Design and implement hardware testing strategies and automated test tools.
Collaborate with software and production teams to enhance automation and operational efficiency.
Create and maintain documentation for testing procedures and tools.
Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Provide feedback to design teams to support product enhancements.
Conduct root-cause analysis of production, product, and process issues.
Lead system architecture designs for technical initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in Python.
Strategic experience designing scalable system architectures.
Familiarity with Linux, Git, and networking.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, collaboration, accountability, and ownership skills.
Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field is preferred.
Preferred experience includes hardware testing, automated test systems, hardware-software integration, data analysis, performance monitoring, high-volume manufacturing, SQL/databases, C/C++, JavaScript, and Nix.

Benefits

Base salary range of $191,000–$253,000 USD.
