Responsibilities

  • Execute comprehensive tests, report defects, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely fixes.
  • Create test cases from product requirement documents for web and mobile platforms.
  • Conduct non-functional, exploratory, sanity, coverage, and end-to-end testing.
  • Apply test design methods including Boundary Value Analysis and State Transition Diagrams.
  • Use testing, performance, debugging, mobile, and test management tools to support quality assurance.
  • Analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and create scripts or tools as needed.
  • Identify process friction, suggest improvements, plan realistic workloads, and escalate blockers or delays.
  • Reproduce issues with developers, understand fixes, and ensure critical defects are addressed.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and help improve their technical and testing skills.

Requirements

  • Strong experience testing web and mobile applications.
  • Proficiency with the listed testing tools and methodologies, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, Xcode, ADB, proxy tools, JMeter, TestRail, and Zephyr.
  • Strong understanding of web and mobile technical architecture and software design.
  • Ability to perform exploratory, performance, reliability, resilience, security, compliance, localization, and end-to-end testing.
  • Ability to read and analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and create testing scripts or tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
