Senior QA Automation Developer (HELOC) in Canada new

Responsibilities

  • Develop automated functional and performance tests in step with feature development.
  • Use LLMs and AI tools to create test plans, internal knowledge stores, and custom testing workflows.
  • Enable developers to run existing automation, evaluate failures, and troubleshoot environment issues.
  • Execute tests in disposable environments by deploying microservices with varied versions and configurations and customizing database content.
  • Configure, patch, and deploy services, infrastructure, and code changes through production.
  • Analyze logs and reproduce production issues in non-production environments.
  • Collaborate with QA platform and product teams on feature validation and test automation.
  • Participate in application specification reviews and architectural design sessions from a quality perspective.

Requirements

  • Develop test automation in Java using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright.
  • Use development environments such as IntelliJ or Eclipse, with or without coding assistants.
  • Deploy services across environments using Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and Jenkins.
  • Improve test infrastructure using Docker, Playwright, and headless browser execution.
  • Work with log aggregation and monitoring tools such as SumoLogic, Kibana, Honeycomb, and Grafana.
  • Demonstrate a focus on test automation and high-quality feature delivery.
  • Be comfortable working in an Agile environment.
